What We Believe

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer

Core Beliefs

The following core beliefs are grounded in the foundational truths of the Bible. All our teaching, ministry, and mission flow from these biblical doctrines:

God

There is one eternally existing God in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things, both visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy of all glory and praise.
God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He is unchanging—the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Revelation

God has made Himself known through:

His Son, Jesus Christ — the visible image of the invisible God
The Holy Scriptures — inspired and authoritative
Creation itself — declaring His eternal power and divine nature

Mankind

Humanity—both male and female—was created in the image of God for His glory. Adam and Eve, the first humans, were created without sin and appointed as caretakers of God's creation.

The Fall

When Adam and Eve chose to disobey God, sin entered the world. They fell from their original state, becoming distorted images of God, and severed fellowship with Him. This fall has affected all of creation ever since.

Salvation

Jesus Christ came to reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins, and rose from the dead in victory over sin and death.
By God’s grace, eternal life is offered as a free gift to all who repent and believe in Christ by faith, receiving Him as Lord and Savior.
Salvation is found in Christ alone.

The Church

The Church is the visible body of Christ, called and sent into the world to glorify God and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ. It is a community of believers, empowered by the Holy Spirit to live out the gospel in word and deed.

Resurrection

Jesus Christ will one day return in glory to judge the living and the dead and to fully establish God's eternal kingdom. On that day, all things will be made new, and God will dwell with His people forever.
