How it all started...
NFBC began May 23, 1834 at Procter's Schoolhouse in Logan County, KY. On November 29, 1877 a new house of Worship in Auburn was dedicated and the name New Friendship Baptist Church was formed. From a small country church to a growing church, NFBC has always been committed to seeing the Great Commission fulfilled. From generations past to the current and beyond, NFBC is committed to teaching and preaching the full story of Jesus and making disciples of all the nations of the world.
The vision continues...
From a church that serves the needs of the Auburn community to a church that serves the mission field across the Nation.
NFBC has served and is currently partnering with churches and missionaries across the globe. It's our desire to see the Great Commission fulfilled Worldwide.

Where we are headed...
NFBC sits in a prime location to impact a tri-county region: Logan, Simpson, and Warren counties. Because of this reality, NFBC has set its trajectory to become a regionally-focused church, while extending its footprint among the nations of the world.
We have adopted the vision:
Love God, Love others, Make disciples
Everything that we do centers around seeing this vision succeed. Our new vision encompasses the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:36–40) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18–20). All areas of NFBC revolved around knowing the Lord and worshiping him, loving the people around us, and making his name known all over the world by replicating ourselves in every nation, tribe, and language group.
